Whatever After

Sometimes the wrong dreams come true. . . A fantasy anthology series for adults, Whatever After takes myths, legends, and fairy tales, and reimagines them for the modern age.

These stories are not fact. But this does not mean they are not truth. They were born as commentaries on modern life, using fantasy and imagination to satirise the world. This is the spirit that Whatever After seeks to recapture.

Think of it like Black Mirror for fairy tales.

Three short pilot episodes have been produced, featuring Jessica Brown Findlay as the narrator. A broadcaster is currently being sought for a full series. To read more, click below. And if you are a producer or commissioner and would like a viewing password, please get in touch.

inVERSE

INVERSE is a series of short films that explore time and the human condition.

Each film takes an old poem and uses it as a prism through which to explore the world today. And when we say old, we mean really old. There isn’t a poem in the collection that wasn’t first written down thousands of years ago. But far from being dry, remote echoes of a long-gone age, each poem chosen for the collection feels like it could have been written yesterday.

And why shouldn’t they? People are people. Our dreams are nothing new. Our ancestors had the same hopes and fears that we do. And if we can understand this, perhaps it puts some of the problems of our world into perspective.
